Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What can we say about Bob? This cat has been through the ringer! Found when he was just 5 months old, Bob was rushed into emergency surgery to have his tail amputated due to an infected wound. Or, at least, HALF of his tail! When we picked Baby Bob up from surgery, we were expecting to see a bob-tailed kitty (hence his name) but much to our surprise, the vet decided to only remove the infected area and left this sweet boy with a chubby stub of a tail! But he didn't seem to notice and settled into his new life quite well. Bob was eventually adopted by a friendly senior who needed a cuddle companion. Sadly, Bob's adopted mom recently passed and so he is back with us until he finds the right home for himself.
Bob is a little shy right now because of all the changes (imagine going from being an only child to having 10 foster cat siblings and 4 big doggos running around!) but he is a very sweet and cuddly boy. His favorite thing to do is to climb into bed at night and lay right next to you so he can keep a watchful eye on you and protect you from danger 😂 He is also a big fan of feather toys and a HUGE fan of treats, though he can be quite picky about those.
Bob would do best in a home without too many siblings because he likes to be the center of attention and nap the day away in a sunny window perch. He doesn't mind dogs, as long as they aren't giant pony-dogs chasing him around! Message us for more details, photos, or to fill out an adoption application and make Bob the newest member of your family. 😄
