Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Wally, a handsome 5 year old, 8 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Georgetown, TX. Only Texas residents will be considered.
UPDATE - 03/13/2023 Wally has been with his foster family since January and he has sprung into spring with a giant leap. He absolutely loves his foster family Yorkie so it would be perfect if his new family had a Yorkie that needs a lovable buddy like Wally. He loves to chase big Old English Sheepdog around the yard, gives lots of morning kisses to his Yorkie friend and even more excited for his morning walks. Wally looks like a little stuffed animal so on his walks folks alway have to stop and say what a gorgeous baby.
He is a snuggle bunny with his mom and dad, always following mom everywhere. He is healthy, up to date on immunizations, and is excited to meet his new family. His tummy gets a little upset in the car but that doesn’t keep him for loving to go for drives. He will need medication for trips for a while until he adjusts to the excitement of going places. He does well with his potty training but still likes to let us know occasionally that he’s still the boss. If you think Wally will be the perfect new family member go to the link below to complete an application.

UPDATE-1/24/2023 Oh my goodness!! Look at this adorable guy that reminds foster mom of a little stuffed bear! Wally came to UYR on 1/5/2023 with several other babies that were a breeder release from Texas and Oklahoma. This little guy is a very laid back, go along to get along personality who hangs out with other dogs, loves loves his walks and sleeps next to you and is down for the whole night.
And as unbelievable as it is for a Yorkie no barking. His only sound is if he is in a crate(hates hates) and cries if you leave him and dont take him a long..Wally loves to cuddle and lay in your lap, and is a foodie, good with any size dog, but is learning to engage in playing but he loves their company and gets excited when other dogs run fast around the yard. Little Wally seems to get an upset tummy when he rides in a car so he wouldnt be the best companion with a family that travels. His name should be Shadow because no matter what his foster mom does he follows everywhereeven if he is sleeping in a second he is awake and finds his way to see what he is missing.
Wally is done with his vetting so he is neutered, has his dental and is up to date on his vaccinations. We are still working on his potty training, some days excellent, then other days we start again. This baby gets along with everyone but small active children might be too excitable for him since he is a quiet, soft personality. He has discovered squeak toys and loves to walk around and squeak squeak squeak...Lol
If you think Wally would be a perfect companion for your family please fill out the application below.
Initial Bio 1/7/23: Hello there! I'm Wally. I'm as cute as a teddy bear and just as snuggly! I have not met anyone who isn't a friend yet, and just love to explore! I was with the others at the breeders, and United Yorkie Rescue took us all in to give is a new life! I am about 5 years old, weigh about 8 lbs, and will be neutered mid-January. Then I will be ready to go! You can reach my foster mom at uyrtxbets@gmail.com.
