My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Cheeto! I'm a calm and easygoing lady. I enjoy meeting new people, but also appreciate others who are patient with me and allow me to open up myself to them. Once we become a bit closer, I'm very sweet and will happily let you pet me. You may notice I'm a big girl, with more to love!- but any help with my grooming routine would be much apprciated! I get along with other cats and small dogs and would love to get along with you, too! Come visit me at AHS and let's get to know each other more!

More about this shelter

The Austin Humane Society (AHS) offers comprehensive, humane, life-saving animal services, transforming the lives of animals and those who love them. Because we believe homeless animals deserve a chance to thrive in a loving environment, we offer innovative, nationally recognized programs that save the lives of thousands of dogs and cats each year. AHS’ approach to addressing animal homelessness encompasses both finding animals homes through adoption as well as preventing future homelessness through spay/neuter programs.
