*Rex needs an experienced dominant dog owner. He will take full advantage if he thinks you’ll allow him to be in charge. We have seen him be iffy with new people, so would love to find an experienced dog owner and likely a home with no small children. Once neutered, some of this behavior may even out.*
-Rex does have a cherry eye which doesn’t seem to bother him much, but cherry eyes can be fixed with surgery.

This is done at our facility when you take your new family member home.

You can pay your adoption fee online through our website or in person. We accept cash, credit, debit and local checks.

Along with a "swag bag" from Hill's Science Diet!

You're invited to visit our dogs and cats and talk with an adoption counselor to find the right pet for your family. You can bring your current pet(s) to meet potential new pets.

Our shelter is open every day from 12:00 - 5:00 (closed Sundays & Wednesdays) and we participate in a variety of events and mobile adoptions throughout the month. Our events are posted on our Facebook page.
