Meet Romaine, a social boy who enjoys spending time with his people and his kitty friends! His foster thinks that Romaine is a medium-energy type of kitten. So while he can play and get his zoomies, he also balances that out with his downtime. Romaine is not the type of kitty who always seems to be on the go. Love is his biggest motivator and Romaine is a huge lovebug with plenty of affection to go around.

His favorite place to be is in the cat bed next to the window and his little hunter instincts come out when wand toys or mice are around. He’s a smart little fella and knows how to use the toy box. Whenever he sees a toy in the toy box that he wants to play with, he will jump right in and grab it to play with. He’s also just a quirky cat in general!He chirps more than he meows to get attention and when he wants to cuddle up in your lap but generally can’t figure out how so he gives up and just lays nearby. Because of his age, we do think that it would be best for Romaine to go home with a buddy or to a buddy with a similar play style. His brother has unfortunately taught him to start climbing legs so regular nail trims are very important.

Romaine’s foster says that this handsome gentleman has the loudest purr they’ve ever heard and it will make your heart melt. While he takes a bit to get comfortable meeting new people, once you’ve put in some quiet time and a little patience, he rewards you with the most loving embrace. He just needs a little reassurance!
