Say hello to to this gorgeous hunk, SPENCER! <3
He is an extra large yellow boy, who just turned 2 years old.
Spencer and a few other dogs are being surrendered to New York State Retriever Rescue from a Louisiana breeder who is closing their business due to personal health reasons.

Spencer is a very strong boy who would not be good for an older person, or toddlers.
He is still learning, and we feel he may not be good with other male dogs.
These dogs are well bred dogs with basic training.
They are social with people and other dogs (with Spencer, again, a female would be best), though we are not sure about small dogs.
These are dogs raised for hunting, and have been trained to retrieve.
Spencer has been well taken care of, but has been living in a kennel situation.

* Each dog had their annual vaccines done and are up to date.
* All dogs have been spayed or neutered.
* All have tested heart worm negative (all dogs must be retested in six months).

SPENCER is ready for the next part of his life- he's simply waiting for her new family to find him. ?
