We have a very special little guy here!

Rufus is a Goofy Foot alumni but his mom recently died so he’s back with us. Rufus did not leave her side the whole time she was sick in bed….he loved her so much.

Rufus is 6-8 years old, 20 pounds and has been living a quiet life with an older woman. That’s what he needs again! A woman who just wants a sweet cuddle buddy.

No small kids because they stress him out. Just a calm quiet home where his little broken heart can heal. Rufus is also not a huge fan of men….he will bark at them so we are hoping the perfect woman is out there for this handsome bachelor!

Rufus had made his "likes" and "dislikes" very clear to his foster mom. He is a homebody whose whole world is turned upside down when someone comes into the house. He will bark...and then bark more...and bark continually until that "intruder" leaves. He has always lived in a single person home with a Mom and he says that he has no intention of changing his ways. He wouldn't mind a dog or cat buddy because he says they are fun.

Rufus is a great little guy – he’s just set in his ways (kind of like all of us when we get a little older!)
