Cartier has been waiting to find his forever home since November! This adorable brown tiger/tabby shorthair boy was rescued when found living outdoors in terrible conditions at a rural trailer park, and he’s currently living in a temporary foster home in Columbus, OH. Cartier weighs about 10 pounds and is estimated to be almost 1 year old. Notable features include his crossed-eyes (just slightly), and his long & slender monkey-like tail, which his foster siblings LOVE to play with. Cartier is very playful and loves romping around with the other cats in his foster home. He also enjoys pouncing on his foster parents’ feet when they’re in bed under the covers. Cartier can be shy initially when first meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable in his surroundings, he’s VERY friendly and affectionate! He likes to sleep in bed with his foster parents, and he LOVES belly rubs. This sweet guy also enjoys climbing in the cat tree, and playing with various toys - strings, springs, and mice. Cartier also loves catnip, and he loves to eat. He is definitely not a picky eater! He enjoys almost any flavor of treats or canned food. He’s mostly a quiet cat, but when he does meow, it sounds like something you’d hear from a tiny baby kitten. It’s so cute! While his meow may be soft, his purr is mighty! Cartier would love to be adopted into a home with another playful kitten/cat. Given his agreeable nature, we think he would likely also do well in a home with children or dogs. Cartier has been neutered, tested, microchipped, and vaccinated.
