My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sheldon is the goofiest, silliest, funniest, quirkiest dog you will ever meet!! He just always brings a smile to our face. He so badly just wants to be everyone's friend!! He LOVES to play with other dogs. Being predominantly a mix of two very high energy and very smart breeds, he does need to be kept busy and his mind stimulated. He will sit and listen to your stories very politely and intently like he is hanging on every word. He is a classic scruffy dog. Do NOT shave him. His mouth, feet and potty area need an occasional trim. The rest of him benefits from being professionally power washed on occasion. He has an oddly shaped muzzle so he snorts a lot, kind of piggish sounding. If you think you would like to possibly add Sheldon to your home please complete our online adoption application at:

More about this rescue

Homeward Bound Waggin is an all volunteer animal rescue and transport organization. We pull animals slated to be euthanized in our rural area and then find no kill rescues in other parts of the country that can take them. We also make them available for adoption in a broader geographical area.
