Meet Micah!
What can I say about this gorgeous boy?? Well, first - I never want him to leave! hahah He is simply darling. He was not always so endearing and sweet. Micah was trapped at colony in which the feeder/caretaker moved and we trapped any remaining cats to ensure they were cared for and put them into our foster system for "socializing". Micah came in very scared, hissing and untouchable. It was not for many months that he started to show signs of softening. He started to KNEAD his front feed when approached - origianlly I told other volunteers to just monitor him as I was not sure why all of a sudden he had a change of heart??? 10 days went by, and he was still kneading and seeming HAPPY when approached.
Micah stared to enjoy company and petting, purring and head butting!! It is always an amazing moment when a feral lets their guard down and finally allows themselves to feel love and comfort!
Its been many months since Micah started to love his humans - he has also made a few furry friends along the way! He paired up with anyother former feral kitten, Beeker, and they have found a brotherhood and happiness in eachother.
Micah is the sweet, romantic type. He kneads and purrs and love to get lots of pets and attention. He was diagnosed with mild asthma - i noticed one day he was breathing oddly and harder at rest - so we took him to the vet for an xray and the vet said he looked to have mild asthma. He is currenlty not being treated for this as there has not been a need, but should be monitored. He is such an adorable little man!!! He loves his treats and to look out windows at the birds and ongoings outside!
Adopt Micah and Beeker today...or don't -- we love them ! <3
