Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***adoptions fees $25 for Oklahoma adopters only***
We are currently overwhelmed with large breed dogs. These are fantastic dogs that often get overlooked because they’re mutts or don’t look striking enough to get attention when really they would give you all their love. They deserve the best home, where they’ll be loved as much as we love them. Don’t forget them, they want homes too.
*MUST live in Oklahoma and have an excellent record with your veterinarian for a reduced fee*
Meet Buck! Our sweet, regal-looking handsome boy is just over a year old and currently 60 pounds. We aren’t sure of his breed mix but we think he has Belgian Shepherd and Akita in his mix. Buck is still shy in new environments, but he is beginning to SHINE in his foster home! Since it took some time for him to come out of his shell, he is just starting to learn to play like a real puppy. He responds well to voice correction and he will need a gentle calm touch for his continued success. He can get overly excited and play too rough. Buck will need extra time to decompress in his new home, but once he does he will be the most loyal companion! He loves the outdoors and long walks and is doing really well with leash training! He is eager to learn, very intelligent, and highly trainable. He is crate trained and will sleep all night without any potty accidents. His foster mom says the person who adopts this guy will have a soulmate for life! Buck has had recent blood work at his vet visit.
Interested in becoming a forever home for Buck? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.
Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .
We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Buck.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Buck the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.
Our adoption fee is $300. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, and flea and tick prevention.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
