RJ is a big teddy, really – he’s about 27” at his shoulder, we think he might be part Irish Wolfhound, he such a love. He is social and rather laid back. He loves to rest his head on you for pats or lean in to you for a good body rub. He is good with other dogs but due to his size he may hurt little dogs when trying to play (he doesn’t realize he’s so big!), we are not sure about cats. He is good with respectful children of any age but due to his size we prefer a home with no small kids under 5yrs as he may accidentally knock littler children over. RJ is crate trained but would likely be fine given free roam of the home. Currently he is only crated some of the time when his foster mom goes out and he has not made any mess or gotten in to any trouble. RJ is a big sweetie eager for attention. He likes a daily walk and knows some basic commands but could probably brush up on leash manners; thankfully he does not jump up! So far we have yet to hear RJ bark! He likes to lie around in the sun or curl up on a doggy bed. He likes to be outside with his family or just hanging out on his bed while you watch tv. He’s huge but so mellow and relaxed you’d hardly know he was there. RJ really needs a house with a fenced yard.
