Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bella is a real beauty. This sweet girl is 2 years old and has been saved from a life of breeding. She is very affectionate and is positively happy to be in a warm home where she can cuddle with her humans. She gets along with other dogs. We don’t know how she will be around cats or small children. She doesn’t bother her Foster Mom’s parrot. She is very smart and has learned very fast that treats can be eaten from a hand. She is still timid with loud noises but is learning to trust when her foster family tells her it’s ok. Bella is not a fan of a crate and prefers sleeping in a human bed. However, she is ok with being gated in a small area. She quickly learned to use a doggy door from the guidance of her foster brother and has had only a few accidents. Coming from a Breeder habitat she is doing remarkably well. She is still working on leash training but seems eager to please and learn.
A fenced yard is recommended as she is still new at the “freedom” scene and may run if frightened.
Bella is a Shetland Collie “Sheltie” and weighs 20lbs. She will be vetted, chipped and spayed and has her appointment February 15. Bella’s adoption fee is $550.00. Foster: Barbi Mcguire barbimcguire@aol.com 908-906-6496
