My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emmie is an 8 year old spayed Border Collie that loves people, kids, dogs and even does well with dog-savvy cats!  She is a medium to low energy gal is known for her full body wags, despite being a little on the shy side.  She came to us last year after she was found by the side of the road with a double fracture of her foreleg.  This tolerant little girl allowed a total stranger to pick her up and bring her in to the vet without so much as a whimper. We had a plate and pins put in and she fully recovered from that injury, but then showed signs of having seizures. Six months have passed since that time, and we have determined that the seizures only happen occasionally and the vet said they are mild and do not need medication.  So, Emmie is back looking for her forever home where she can be part of a family.

Emmie's adoption fee is just $80.  She is spayed, up to date on shots and micro-chipped.  If you are interested in lovely lady, please email HPHS@Ymail.com and tell us about yourself!
