My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hogan is looking for his Hero! This boy is one good looking pup! He came from a rural shelter where he was very thin, heartworm postive and needed a miracle. He is about 4-5 years old, 60 lbs, hound mix, housetrained and a big old goofball with long legs! This boy needs a specific home. He has been to a trainer and has learned some commands and now does fine in a crate. But he can still be stubborn! We are looking for a home that will continue to reinforce the training that he has received. He needs a home with no young children. He loves to play with other dogs. But he needs a strong leader so that he can be the dog that we know he is cabable of! So he needs a place with some land and fenced yard where he can be run around.. He can be sweet and very loving but is stubborn like a typical hound.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Once the adoption application is received, a home visit will be set up. If that goes well and is approved, then a vet check is completed (if the applicant has recently owned an animal, if not, two professional references will be required). Once both of those are approved, then the adoption fee will need to be paid.
