Paisley is a sweet playful pup that is still learning and growing. She is almost completely house trained. She does still occasionally have an accident. She can be left alone for a few hours in her crate, but when left for too long she will find a way to escape. She is currently fostered with both cats and dogs and is great with both!
She is a shy pooper and doesn’t like to go on leash. She loves evening potty time when the family visits the dog park or friends/ family for our daily outing off leash play time where she goes potty outside with no problems. She knows basics sit, come, lay down, shake. She does great on leash and rarely needs to be corrected. She loves being around kids and seems to be when she is best behaved. She really is a dog that gravitates towards bonding with one person, so because of that she might do best as the only dog or in a home with another dog that is laid back. She will is without a doubt a dog that will build a strong bond with her person.
If you are interested in adopting Paisley, click at the link below: http://www.nehoularescue.com/adoption-application.html
Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Paisley’s adoption donation is $450 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and neuter depending on age at time of adoption. We do not have a physical shelter; all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
