Here's what the humans have to say about me:
CLEMENZA IS GETTING ADOPTED! WAY TO GO, CLEM! 9/24/10
Clemenza is a beautiful blue & fawn brindle boy who is about 2 years old. He weighs 50 lbs & is less-than knee high, which makes him a petite pitty. Clemenza has spent a month being trained to sit, stay, down, heal, & come. He received a lot of training with a young boy that has helped him overcome his shiftiness around children. Any prospective adopters will get benefit from his training by also meeting with the trainer (at no charge) to learn themselves how to handle a trained dog!
Our Blue Boy spends his free time romping and playing with the pups indoors & outdoors. If the weather is nice, you can find him on the patio, lounging with a Nylabone. He loves them, but he also loves any toy or bone. He'll take one from the toy box, chewing on it for a little while before going back for the next one. By the end of the night, he will have all of the toys & bones scattered around the living room. If one particular toy gets him excited, Clem is likely to bust a move & bounce around the room while singing.
Afternoons are his favorite time of day since that's when we go for our walks. He loves getting leashed up and going for a stroll. When done, he's content to bask in the sun & snore the afternoon away. He is very eager to please us and loves to be with the humans. If there's room on the sofa and his jaws are tired of chewing, he likes to snuggle up beside us with his head in our lap. It's the perfect time to feel of his velvety soft snout. It's as soft as a horse's nose.
Clem will make a great pet for someone looking for an only child as well as making a great brother. He warms up to new people quickly especially if they have treats for him.
Clemenza sleeps in the guest house, aka a medium-size wire kennel at Camp. He doesn't mind being kenneled when we're at work either. When it's time to be set free, he shows off his Happy Feet. Instead of singing for his supper, Clem tapdances to be set free! It's a highlight of my own day to get to see him doing his happy dance every morning and every evening.
Clemenza is neutered & current on his vaccinations, as well as heartworm & flea/tick preventatives. He has been treated for heartworms by our fabulous vets at VCA Animal Care Center of Mt. Juliet with the last of 3 rounds being done May 21st. He is housetrained and well behaved indoors.
Clemenza's adoption fee is $90.
