Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rajah is a beautiful, curly-coated, caramel-colored Golden Retriever mix who loves, loves, loves people, pets and playing with her humans. She’s a well-behaved family girl (and a gorgeous one at that!) who has never had an accident in the house. She sleeps through the night, lets you know when she needs your attention (like, “let me outside, please!”) and does fine with cats and with children. She loves adventures on walks, going for car rides, getting her exercise while exploring the great outdoors, and just hanging with her people!
Rajah is a healthy, beautiful, 7 year-old girl who was surrendered to RAGOM because she had too much energy for her former family, but that has not been an issue for her foster family! She is an exceptionally well-behaved dog! Rajah had one seizure before coming to RAGOM while she was in the shelter. She has not had another seizure in the 10 months she’s been in foster care and takes medication (twice daily) to avoid a recurrence. Rajah lets her family know when she needs or wants something with either a bark or the famous “Golden nudge,” poking them with her nose.
Rajah’s most important need is to be an only dog. She just doesn’t do well with other dogs, so no dog parks for this pretty girl. Her foster family has a nice routine down and if they come across dogs during a walk, they give a wide berth to other dogs, cross the street or distract Rajah from the other dog so she doesn’t bark or lunge toward other dogs. She also doesn’t like noisy vehicles like large trucks or motorcycles, and will bark and lunge at them to make them go away!
This sweet girl has come so far and will only get better if she finds a home where she’s the only dog, gets regular exercise, continues to work on training, has a consistent schedule (including her medication), preferably a fenced yard, lots of puzzles and games to keep her stimulated, and loads of attention and cuddling from a family who adores her! In return, her family will get a gorgeous, smart, sweet, lovable girl who will let you dress her up in her cold weather clothes (she’s a total fashion plate in her winter gear!), who will be a fabulous travel partner and excellent house guest when you take her on a weekend getaway, and will make a wonderful addition to your family and keep you warm on these winter nights! Who could resist that?
