Meet Willie!

This super cute boy was picked up with his brother Waylon back in Dec as a stray just outside of Shreveport. Because of being so rural, the "holding facility" is just outside kennels. No heat, no a/c, no hot water. We knew things were not going to end well for them if we did not take them into rescue. He came to us back in Jan when he was still a puppy, but being a black dog he is continually being passed over.

Willie is now a year old, fully vetted (vaccinated/neutered/microchipped). He is crate trained and housebroken, GREAT with other dogs, cats he is curious. He is great with kids!! Willie is your typical Lab and is very energetic and would do best in a home with an active family. He is great in the car, but will need some work with leash walking. If you would like to make him part of your family, please complete the online application to begin the process.
