Joyce and Winnie were rescued in Beijing, China during Chinese New Year in 2019. Their owner abandoned them after they sold their house. According to the landlord, the owner left Beijing and went back to her hometown. After the owner left, Joyce and Winnie became strays and had been wandering around at their old house, waiting for their owner to return and trying to survive on their own.
However, the local dog traffickers had been collecting stray dogs in the area, and to prevent anything worse from happening to them, our rescuer Cathy stepped in and rescued Joyce and Winnie when she heard about their story. Joyce and Winnie have been living together at shelters since they were rescued.
Joyce and Winnie enjoy being with each other very much. They both are friendly and love to play with other dogs. Their favorite thing is going for walks together. Joyce and Winnie are gentle, timid at first, but they are playful once they get to know you. They are not aggressive when it comes to food or toys. They both can walk on leashes.
Given their strong friendship and the fact that they have been through a lot together, it is best for Joyce and Winnie to be adopted by the same family.
