- Due to factors beyond our control, transport costs for these pups were much higher than what we have been accustomed to - costs for health certificates and medical + transport for each dog with no allowances for shared crates were $335 per dog. With these factors taken into account, as well as the care needs for these particular pups, we need to request a donation above our normal request. We are asking for a donation of $850 from each adopter. The same $600 will be used to support our program and the additional $250 will be used toward the cost of transport. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. Please keep this in mind prior to applying.

Home Recommendation: Parsnip's ideal home would be one that is patient and loving. She spent most of her life kept in a cage and is learning all the fun things of being a dog! She is shy at first greeting and takes time to come out of her shell. She would benefit from having another dog in the home to help build her confidence. A quiet home with a fenced in yard since Parsnip is getting used to walking on the leash.

Personality: Parsnip is a gentle, loving, and quiet girl who has had a rough start at life. Despite this, she is so sweet and wouldn't hurt a fly! She loves playing with other dogs and spending time napping on the couch. She is very curious but can be timid at times. With time and trust, she will become your loyal best friend!

Why did he come to WISE? Parsnip's "breeders" decided she wasn't valuable enough to produce puppies and she was set to be euthanized. WISE wasn't going to let that happen and took her into our program.
