My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet and shy little pup is Lyric. She was born in June and found her way to Animal Advocacy from California. She was labeled as a biter when she was taken to meet a prospective adopter just 5 hours after her spay surgery. In her foster home, she is simply a delight.

Like all puppies, Lyric will need loads of love and patience to help her become the best little Chihuahua mix she can be. She has been through a lot in her short life. She will need understanding to get over her fear and shyness.

She gets along well with other dogs after a supervised introduction. She has had successful interactions with kids of all ages with a slow supervised introduction. Lyric loves toys and playing with her people like a good puppy should. She has been trained to use a doggie door and is doing very well with her house training. She will sleep in her crate, but much prefers to be cuddling with her people.

Lyric has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, has been microchipped.
