My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Sunny. And just like my name, I have a very sunny disposition. I used to have a home and a family, but they somehow forgot about me and I ended up in a shelter. Maybe it’s because I’m not perfect—my back legs are a little gimpy. If you have ever seen a pigeon walk, well that’s how I walk! I like to run and play, but when I get going fast, I hop like a bunny. It’s pretty cute, if I say so myself. But I get around just fine, and I even like short walks. I really enjoy being outside, but I like to nap in the afternoon, and I sleep all through the night…although I like to get up early because I don’t want to miss a minute of fun! My foster mommy says I’m a real sweetheart, especially when I snuggle up to her, look at her with my big eyes and cuddle in her lap. I like the company of other dogs, and if you have older kids that I can play with, I would make a great family dog. I’m looking for a special person who appreciates that nobody is perfect and will appreciate me for the loving and special little pup that I am!
