Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlie had been homeless for quite a while as his human was a homeless gentleman. When he lost his person, he ended up with us in rescue. Now Charlie is happy being a house dog, snoozing on the couch, his foster mom’s bed, or outside when it’s sunny. He is happy about having regular meals and fresh water in his particular spot.
While we put Shepherd mix for his information, we are not sure what breed Charlie is, just a sweetheart of a guy who wanted to be sure he was wanted before settling into his foster home.
Charlie gets along with other dogs and cats and even leaves the livestock kiddos alone so that they would be fine in a home with other animals of just about any species. He is a bit aloof about making other animal friends but would love to devote himself to his human family.
Charlie is fully vetted, current with vaccines, neutered; microchipped; and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

More about this rescue
Hillcrest Animal Rescue is a 501c3, non-profit organization dedicated to saving as many homeless, neglected and abused animals as our resources allow. All of our rescues are placed in loving foster homes and receive thorough medical care. Each companion animal is heartworm tested and treated if positive; placed on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention; altered and micro chipped. Every animal receives a full complement of vaccines depending on risk and immune status. Chronic pain is not acceptable with animals in our care. We will take whatever measures are necessary to ensure that all of our animals are living free of pain and disease. To summarize our belief in veterinary care, any animal at Hillcrest Rescue receives the same level of veterinary care as if she or he were the only animal we have.
