My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bean and Dupu are an adorable, talkative and fun pair of three-year-old sister guinea pigs looking for a loving guardian together.
Bean is an Abyssinian brown agouti guinea pig with white and caramel markings. Her sister Dupu is a tri-color Teddy Bear guinea pig with a short plush coat.
These girls get along with each other beautifully and love to take treats and greens from your fingers.
The girls eat unlimited timothy, orchard and botanical hays, share two cups of fresh salad each day and a 1/4 cup of pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, or some of their dark leafy greens. They love their salads and whistle for them. They are quite adorable.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/
They would love a home with people who will love them, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Bean and Dupu, please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
Their adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, we’ll include a kit of absolutely everything you need to care for them including their large cage, pellets, hay, hidey hut, and water bottle.
They are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
