My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vivy is a lively young girl. Her age is about 5-6 months and her current size is 35 lbs. She is a hearty girl; a happy inquisitive girl. She loves others and easily welcomes kindness from strangers. She has good energy as a young dog should.
She will be an active girl.

Her breed mix is not certain but, her ears & voice tell us hound. She is playful and has fellow young female dogs who share their day with her but, a new home of her own is on our mutual wish list.

We are a rural shelter with high intakes. As a result, the shelter dogs are not guaranteed safety. We do our best but, we need help.

ADOPTION FEES APPLY- Dogs $125-$150 Cats $80. (We are not set up for credit or debit payments.)
Applications are required and can be requested by emailing fopcpky@gmail.com or the foster contact listed if in foster care.

The shelter is open Monday thru Friday from 9 - 3 p.m. except Thursdays (closed). Saturday hours are by appt.

After hours appts can be arranged with advance notice and an approved application. We want to accommodate!

For an alternate phone, call 859-948-0371. We are glad to answer any questions. Adoption rates are low and include a spay or neuter and rabies. Surgeries are mandatory!
