Meet Moe, the lovable and quirky Cattle dog/Husky mix who is currently residing at our adoption center in Brewster NY. Weighing in at around 45 pounds, Moe is a bundle of fun and energy waiting to find his forever home. Moe is a character, always up for playing fetch and lounging in the kiddie pool. He's known for his silly antics, and he loves nothing more than sitting in your lap or rolling over for some belly rubs. Moe is also a big fan of giving kisses! While Moe can be a little reserved around new people, he warms up quickly with a little patience and love. He would do best in a home with older children and plenty of activity to help him expend his energy. Moe is house and crate trained, making him the perfect companion for any household. Moe loves going for walks around the neighborhood, and he'll happily tag along on any adventure. He's truly an amazing and sweet boy, and he's just waiting for the right family to come along and take him home. An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

Go meet their pets

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
