This helps SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
*Name: Waffles
*Age: approx 5 years
*Current Weight: 45 Lbs
*Rescued from: Texas
*Adoption fee: $375
*Health: up to date on vaccines, Spayed, microchipped
*Adoption requirements: adopter must be 25 or older, fully fenced yard (physical fence, not electric).
Meet Waffles, a sweet and loving Shepherd who has captured the hearts of everyone she meets. Waffles started her life in Texas, but was lucky enough to be taken in by one of SNARR Northeast's amazing fosters and transported to NY.
Waffles is a well-behaved pup who is crate and house trained, and knows her commands. She loves her daily walks and is wonderful on a leash. She's also an excellent car passenger and loves to observe the world from the comfort of her dog bed. Waffles is a smart girl who would love a home where she can connect and bond with her human. She is a loyal and loving pup who will always be by your side.
Waffles is a little shy when meeting new people or dogs, so her new family will need to be patient with her as she adjusts. However, once she gets to know you, her tail never stops wagging and she is all about belly rubs and playtime. Waffles is an active girl who loves to run and play outside, but also enjoys sunbathing and stretching out on a grassy area after her daily workout.
Waffles would prefer a home where she can be the center of attention and be the only dog. She is a special girl who deserves all the love and attention in the world. Waffles is currently residing at our adoption center in Brewster, NY and is looking for her forever home. Waffles is the perfect addition to any family!

FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING
All adoption fees are non-refundable
If paying by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal there is a set processing fee, generally this fee is under $15 per pet. These processing fees are determined by the form of payment adopters decide to use. By helping with this minimal cost this allows us to save more animals.
Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing:
LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records.
SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. **
MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors.
APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application.
