Meet Chylee!

Chylee is a charming 2-year-old Labrador Retriever/Hound mix who weighs around 40 pounds. She has a beautiful short, shiny coat of black and tan fur and has already been spayed. She currently lives in Texas and is looking for her forever home.

Although Chylee can be shy at first, once she trusts her humans, she is an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion. She will quickly become your best friend and loves nothing more than spending time with her family. Chylee needs a home with someone who is patient and willing to work with her to help her overcome her shyness.

Chylee is a social dog and enjoys being around other dogs. She needs to be in a home where she has the company of another dog to keep her entertained and help her feel more confident. A home with a securely fenced yard is essential for Chylee to play and exercise safely. As a hound mix, she may have a strong prey drive and tendency to wander, so a secure fence is crucial to keep her safe.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
