This helps SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
*Name: Chance 2
*Age:approx 4 years old
*Current Weight: 50 pounds
*Rescued from: Texas
*Adoption fee: $400
*Health: Up to date on vaccines, neutered, & microchipped
*Adoption requirements: Adopter must be 25 or older, no cats,
Oh look at this cutie pie!!! We don't understand how Chance has not been scooped right up yet ?! We love his big happy smile and his adorable ears. Chance has quite the personality too! Chance is always so happy and sweet to everyone he meets; quite the social butterfly! He loves to snuggle on the couch and climb in your lap but he is also happy running and playing fetch. Chance does great with kids ( but can play a bit rough sometimes ) and loves other dogs !
We look at Chance and we see a total Heinz 57 Mix, but if we had to take our best guess maybe some Shepherd or Carolina dog in there? Some hound ? It will be a mystery for now, but what we DO know is that Chance has patiently been waiting for a home to call his own for WAY too long! Chance was originally found in a horrible area of Texas with a giant chain doubled around his neck. SNARR was asked to step in to help and we immediately said YES! We couldnt resist his adorable face and wanted to give him his second chance. Chance lived a tough life as a stray prior to being rescued. Because of that, he can sometimes be a bit territorial over food with other dogs in the home. Therefore we suggest an owner with experience and a willingness to work with him or he could benefit as an only dog who gets to socialize and play with other dog buddies at the park and outside of the home. Chance is currently located at our adoption center in Brewster NY waiting for his perfect forever home or a loving foster home. Could you be the one ???

FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING
All adoption fees are non-refundable
If paying by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal there is a set processing fee, generally this fee is under $15 per pet. These processing fees are determined by the form of payment adopters decide to use. By helping with this minimal cost this allows us to save more animals.
Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing:
LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records.
SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. **
MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors.
APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application.
