Update 1-19-2017
Shilo has had his dental and 10 teeth extracted. He is now ready for his forever home. Shilo is potty trained and loves all pups and people!
Intake 11-28-2016
Shilo came into rescue as an owner surrender. He was brought to our Vet Hospital where he was updated on some of his vaccines and also had x-rays taken of his bladder. It was found Shilo had many large and small bladder stones. He was taken into his foster home and after hearing him cry all night we took an emergency trip to UW Vet Hospital. Many radiographs were taken and the surgeon decided to do surgery immediately. Shilo did well with his surgery and was released the afternoon after his surgery. He no longer cries and is out of pain, just feeling a bit under the weather from his surgery. He has done well, and will have his sutures removed in 10 days at which time he will be microchipped.
Shilo loves the pups in his foster home. He has come out of his shell and wants to play. He has proven to be a little love, he has seen no strangers and loves all people.
Shilo will be up for adoption mid January, we want to keep him in foster care until he is completely healed and has had a dental for severe dental disease.
Shilo will need a securely fenced in yard so he can explore at his own pace. He is not a threat of flight risk, he just loves the outdoors and likes to explore on his own at his own pace.
We will keep you updated on his progress as the weeks pass by.
