Salli is a loving sweet senior. She loves everyone. No fear of other dogs, adults or children....cats unknown but I think she would be fine with them. She is pretty much potty trained, but if left she will have an accident in the house. Her favorite thing to do is sleep. She prefers to sleep on the carpet but every once in awhile will get up and lay in one of the many dog beds available. She appeares to be arthritic.....especially in her hind legs. Because Salli is slow moving and seems to prefer sleeping in walkways, only homes with older children should be considered. A running jumping child could be a serious threat to Salli. She doesn't mind being held but after awhile she gets hot and likes to stretch out on the floor. Salli's owners would need to be mindful of the hair around Salli's eyes as it is thick and causes medical issues if allowed to grow into her eyes. Salli loves car rides. The ideal home for her would be with a retired couple looking for a companion to fill their heart's no matter if they are at home or on the road.
Salli came into rescue through an owner surrender. She has been fully vetted, spay, dental and UTD with all vaccinations including Bordatella.
Salli doesn't necessarily need a fenced in yard, but her family will need to take her out on a leash so she can relieve herself. She is not likely to run fast and get away but must be watched at all times while being outside.
Salli's adoption fee is $250.00
