Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Mikey is a handsome senior sir looking for a retirement home! He first came to PACC as a stray back in 2019 and quickly found a home. Unfortunately, Mikey was returned to shelter in 2023. His former people said that Mikey walks well on the leash, always loves to stick by your side, and is a total couch potato!
Mikey found himself at risk due to critical overcrowding in the shelter and was saved by a wonderful short-term foster. Here’s what his foster dad said:
“Mikey is AWESOME!!! I kept Mikey separate from my resident dogs, but Mikey loves being with his person! He’s extremely well behaved, easygoing and mellow. He just wants to lay down beside me. Mikey’s got a great appetite, he’s housebroken, and in the four weeks he was with me showed no destructive behavior when left alone. He walks well on leash and he loves car rides!”
Here`s what one volunteer at the shelter said:
“Mikey is a great walker once he`s away from the noisy shelter. He knows sit and takes treats softly. Very nice guy!”
Mikey would like to meet all family members before heading home and would benefit from crate/muzzle training in his future home. Mikey has generally kept to himself when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d love to be your one and only so he can hog all of your attention, but if going to a home with another dog, a meet and greet is required. Please ask about Mikey today!
