Looking for the perfect companion to snuggle with on the couch, go on leisurely walks, and generally pal around with? Nerina is your gal!
She is easy going, people friendly, and other animal tolerant with slow introduction. Plus she is THE cutest girl in town. She knows basic obedience, but isn't going to listen just because. There better be excellent praise and or food in it for her.
Her main talent is laying on the couch, if her person is with her even better. However she will happily keep the sofa from floating away in her peoples absence. She is house trained, and crate trained. She walks well on a leash, and can learn new tricks with the motivation from treats.
Nerina would probably work out fine with a family with limited to no guardian breed experience if they were willing to learn.

We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you are interested in is a good match.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a perfect placement so we know that they will not be failed again.
