Plato was shelter bound as his prior humans were moving out of the country. Our volunteer stepped up to foster him until we can find him a forever home.

Plato was originally purchased from a breeder as a reject as he is slightly bigger than the most desirable dwarf sizes. That is so sad. Plato is a small boy with a big personality!

He is extremely friendly, loves to be the center of attention and doesn't shy away from petting! He has a very gregarious, outgoing personality. He likes to investigate his surroundings; he's almost a busy body. He is not fearful or shy. He is more like a puppy than a bunny. His personality traits are highly desirable by many adopters.

He is easy to pick up and handle. Of course, he is a sucker for treats!

His approximate date of birth is January 2021. He is vaccinated against RHVD2.

Plato should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. He can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Plato can be seen in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
