My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tuzzy is a sweet and loving young kitty. She's grown up in foster care so she's well-socialized, both to people and to other cats. She loves to cuddle and share affection while also being a playful and active kitty. Tuzzy has had lots of attention from multiple people and other cats; she is also comfortable with the gentle shop dog.

Tuzzy has a sleek black fur coat and takes good care of it! If you happen to be looking for a pair, please ask about other cats in the shop who might be good as a buddy to go with her.

We are in a rural location and cover a large area with small communities far apart. We tailor our adoption process to fit the needs of each adoption, whether it be a home visit or other specific situation. Adoptions are allowed to proceed only after careful checking of the situation for each animal.

Rescued Animals In Need is a no kill organization whose main focus is rescuing lost, abandoned, abused, neglected or unwanted animals and helping them find their forever homes. We work hard to reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats by providing education and financial assistance (when available) for spay/neuter programs to help prevent unwanted and uncontrolled pregnancies for animals in our communities. Including a program for the voiceless and often ignored feral cats. We have full non-profit 501(c)3 status with the State of California.
