My story

Are you ready to be charmed? Just look at those baby blues! Dapper Dalton, the people pleaser, will charm your socks off with his impeccable manners and warm doggie cuddles. His foster mom says “there is no better sight than when we get home to see Dalton with his paw up, waiting for you to hold his hand and give him hugs”. Can we get a collective ‘awwwwww’, please!
Dalton loves long hikes where he can sniff and explore while showing you how well he listens to commands. Daily walks are necessary to keep this very smart boy’s brain active, as well as to keep up his training when seeing other dogs. His ability to remain non-reactive to other dogs is still a work in progress but, he is making progress. A pocket full of treats is a great distraction.
If there was a paid doggie job of ‘master cuddler’, Dalton would be hired. He loves to be loved and wants cuddles from everyone. He’s wonderful with people of all ages. He’ll let you know if someone is at your door because he assumes everyone is his new best friend and he can’t wait to meet them.
He needs to be the only dog in the home and no cats please.
