Meet Lydia (DOB 2021)
Lydia is ready for her best life with you! She was found in Antioch as a stray but when she came into foster, she was ill and needed some extra TLC to recover. Once she was feeling better, it quickly became clear that Lydia had a big personality! Lydia is both sweet and sassy however, her sweetness is most endearing. Lydia is quite talkative and will hold full conversations with you. She is also “treat motivated” so this currency will help you bond and win her trust. Because she is a bit on the shy side, she will take some time to warm up when she goes home. For this reason, Lydia will feel most comfortable in a family with adults only. Once she settles in, she will open up and show you lots of love with plenty of play thrown in for fun. She does like the feather wand and will chase ball toys around the house. Lydia also has some fun quirks like picking up and depositing household items around the house. She will likely do well with another kitty friend as long as care is taken to introduce them properly and she isn’t overshadowed by a stronger/alpha personality. She is reluctantly tolerant of the small dog in her foster home but would probably appreciate a home without canine friends.
