Alvin is one of three young male chi mixes found in a rural part of Accomack County during a very cold spell. No one claimed them so we brought them into rescue. Alvin is a timid boy when meeting people for the first time but warms up and is very affectionate once he is comfortable. For this reason we feel he would do best in an adult home. He loves to go for a walk or a car ride and seems to be ok with other dogs- although he barks at dogs walking by. He is housetrained in his foster home but would need to get used to an adopter's schedule but he should transition easily. All Alvin wants is a warm lap, a couple of walks a day, maybe a fenced in yard(not required) but mostly he wants someone to call his own.
