Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Belle was rescued from a high kill shelter in Riverside, California. She was on the euthanasia list for behavioral issues. She was so scared, she wouldn’t let anyone near her. It took me 5 min to earn some trust and then she melted in my arms. I just couldn’t leave her there, knowing what would happen if I did.
She is estimated to be 1 and is the sweetest dog. It took her no time at all to bond with me. She will be your shadow, following you everywhere and just wanting to be near you. She will cuddle on the couch for a bit but prefers to sleep near you on the floor.
She does well with other dogs, but is ok being the only one, too. She does well in the car and on a leash (no pulling).
She would be perfect for someone older, retired, that wants a best friend to always be by their side. Herding dogs tend to bond strongly with one person and she is already demonstrating that.
She is my favorite of the 3 I rescued and I know she’ll make someone’s life a lot less lonely.
