Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I rescued Twinkle from a high kill shelter in LA county, California. She was due to be euthanized any day. She was so sad and crying out. I couldn’t leave her there.
So far she seems to be a more calm husky. She is estimated to be 2 years old, housebroken, walks very well on a leash (no pulling), knows the command sit, rides very well in the car, loves to sleep with you, and cuddle on the couch. She loves other dogs and would prefer a home with one.
She does not do well with cats or other dominant females. She also doesn’t like to be alone. Being with another dog helps.
She got the zoomies the first time she played in the snow. It was so sweet to see her so happy. Twinkle is the name the shelter gave her.
She is pretty small for a husky, being only 40 lbs. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.
She’s a true survivor. Her small size and calm demeanor make her perfect for an older, active owner that will be home most of the time.
