Little Reds was brought to DCC after the family lost their home to arson, and had to move into temporary housing. He loves to be petted, but not to be picked up. He plays too rough with kittens to be trusted with them. He will swat and scratch if he is startled, so probably should not be with small children. If you need rodent control, he's ready for your barn!

More about this rescue

We are a rescue group on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that fosters cats and kittens in our homes until they are ready to be adopted. All our fosters are spayed or neutered, SNAP tested, given meds for fleas and parasites and have all shots that are age appropriate. We put our adoptable pets in Petsmart for the public to interact with and to fill out adoption paperwork. We are a nonprofit organization that operates with a staff of volunteers that manage the adoption center at Petsmart, staff shows and adoptathons throughout the year and take homeless cats and kittens into their homes until they are ready for adoption. We are totally dependent on grants and donations to cover our expenses for our foster cats.
