Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Toby (2yo) is a super sweet boy with a big story that won’t all fit here. He was abandoned as a puppy in a local community. A kind rescuer took him in last summer but could only keep him a few months. I volunteered in August to try to take him in and work with him. Here’s what I’ve learned:
He’s the sweetest boy. He craves love and affection. He is still a bit fearful/submissive but has come a long way with this since being here. He needs a fenced yard. He does not do well with chickens. He loves my kids but needs a home without small children due to his herding instincts. He really needs another good-natured dog to play with. Our feeble 11yo dog is stressed by him and his attempts to play. Fear and lack of socialization during his first year has led to some nervousness with new people at first.
I love him SO much but know he needs a home better suited to him. He needs a loving, patient, experienced adopter who can give him the home he needs.
(Scheduled to be neutered end of Jan.)
