Home Recommendation: Vilma is a gentle, shy lady who needs confidence building due to her difficult past. Her ideal forever home is one that is patient and loving, and will teach her the fun side to being a dog! She would benefit from having a routine and taking things slow and steady!

Personality: Vilma is so calm and sweet despite what she has been through. Once this love bug comes out of her shell, all she wants to do is sit next to you on the couch and cuddle all day long. She loves affection and when she bonds with you, she will become your little shadow! She is quiet and incredibly intelligent! She has been learning so quickly after being in a foster home over a short period of time. She is so quiet and rarely makes a peep

Dogs: yes, Vilma does great with other dogs!

Cats: Yes!

Crate Trained: She does well in her crate but enjoys more free room of a play pen.

House trained: Vilma is making great progress with her house training. Her foster mom keeps her on a routine schedule and she rarely will have an accident in the house.

Leash Training: Vilma has never walked on a leash prior to going into foster care. She is getting the hang of it slowly but surely!

Why did she come to WISE? Vilma was saved from a puppy mill after she was about to be euthanized. WISE wasn't going to let that happen and took her into our program.
