My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Thorfinn, a ten-month-old male kitten (as of April 2023, but 5 mos when my pics were taken). I’m an equally snuggly and playful kitty, looking for my forever home. I love being active - whether that’s playtime with my foster kitty siblings (like my twin Sasappis) or my toys. I love toys of all kinds and can’t wait to show off my chasing and pouncing skills. After a hard day of play, there’s nothing I want more than to cuddle up with my people on the couch or in bed. I do well around other cats and dogs and am very people-oriented and social, making friends instantly. I’ll come to your home litter box trained, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations. If I sound like the purrfect addition to your home, email rockcityrescue@gmail.com with your name and phone number.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All animals 3 months or older must be sterilized prior to adoption. There is an adoption contract that is signed once an adopter had been approved for an adoption. There is no fee to apply for a dog, but adoption fees vary from dog to dog.

Currently, this rescue is run by one person and a lot of foster homes. We have full-time jobs like everyone else, so please be patient with us while we return your calls and emails. 99% of the time, we return emails within 24-48 hours.

More about this rescue

We are committed to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats who have been abandoned or lost. We pull dogs from high kill shelters to help them be united with loving forever homes, as well as, help rehome animals found as strays and help families rehome their own pets they can no longer care for.
