Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Kalila was one of eighteen dogs rescued from a horrible hoarding situation out of Mississippi by another rescue. For what this sweet girl endured, she is a wonderful loving dog; however, she is terrified in the beginning of new situations and needs a family that will be patient with her and help her work through understanding what all the new things are that she is seeing and experiencing.
She is truly a tough cookie and takes it with a grain of salt. She does not act aggressively; she is just very scared. She will need more work on leash and does love to ride in the car and be with you once she knows you are her person. Kalila’s name means "to love," and she truly wants to love and be loved!
If you are interested in adopting Kalila, click at the link below: http://www.nehoularescue.com/adoption-application.html
Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Kalila’s adoption donation is $350 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and neuter depending on age at time of adoption. We do not have a physical shelter; all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
