ASR has our own Lady and the Tramp story , complete with 8 healthy bouncy puppies , 5 boys and 3 girls.
We don't know how our sweet Lady ended up scrounging for food with her friend " Tramp" .....but they were seen for a couple of months near a gas station. Some low life apparently shot Tramp and he was taken to a vet and hopefully to rescue but Lady remained.
Luckily for Lady a kind hearted animal lover picked her up and took her to safety before she could be shot or hit by a car.......she was ( and is) all skin and bones but before she could be seen by a vet, she delivered 8 healthy puppies!
Lady's rescuer didn't want to take them to a shelter but had no extra room so we were delighted we had an experienced puppy foster opening .
The puppies arrived safely and are thriving in their foster home. The will not be available for adoption until they are between 8-10 weeks old but we will accept applications and set up initial meetings when they are between 4-6 weeks old .
Individual pictures will be posted asap.
When applying to adopt one of our puppies, please remember :
Up to the age of 8 months old, puppies cannot be left alone for a standard 8-9 work day. Arrangements will have to be in place for 4 hour intervals until the pups are at least 8 months old.
Having someone with them every 4 hours until they are older greatly facilitates the housebreaking process as well as assists with the general socialization of your pup !
If you are not yet approved to adopt from All Shepherd Rescue, please fill out our online application at www.allshepherdrescue.com. Our adoption fee is $350.00
