Cottontail and her two sisters Flopsy and Mopsy were found dumped outside within a local retirement community. They were taken in at around 3 months old, and have made great strides in becoming sweet housecats!
Cottontail, true to her name, is cottony-soft! She is an absolute beauty with fluffy black fur all over, bright yellow eyes, and a regal expression. Though she is a little shy, she will happily chase after a tossed jingly ball or wand toy, and can be coaxed with a squeeze-tube treat or some hand-fed wet food. She loves to explore little hidden places, especially closets and cabinets. Once she earns your trust, she may creep up like a little shadow and calmly sit beside you or even snuggle into your side before you've realized it.
Cottontail gets along fairly well with the other animals of her foster home, though a slow introduction is always recommended. Her favorite in particular is a resident cat who looks like a grown-up version of her! So if you're a black cat enthusiast, perhaps you could even add her to your panther tribe. We think this little floofy void girl will truly flourish in a place where she can decompress and grow into the spoiled dark princess she was meant to be.
