Gary’s Rescue Story
Gary and his 5 siblings, along with their mom, Gina the Hound, were abandoned in a remote mountain area where shelter, food and water are always difficult to find. They were destined to live a very hard life and would probably end up getting hurt or disappear suddenly. It’s still a mystery how malnourished Gina looked after her 6 baby pups at that time in such a deserted place. Luckily, a gentle elderly man spotted weak and skinny Gina and her baby pups. He didn’t know what to do so he reached out to us for help. We agreed to take them in but with this comes a huge responsibility and as well as the medical cost. It’s never easy to take in puppies as they have to be quarantined first and have lots of socialization from the beginning before they are ready for adoption. From the street to a comfy bed at the foster with hot meals, the 6 “G” pups are all set to find their own homes and get all the love and care they deserve.
Meet Gary
Gary is a playful and energetic pup. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, and he enjoys playing tug and wrestling with his doggie and cat friends. When he moves into a new environment, he might turn a bit skittish in the beginning, but he warms up and blends in nicely after a proper introduction. Gary prefers kids and women to men. It may take a few instances of being in the same room before he becomes comfortable with the man. However, treats are always a good idea to start. He might easily ignore the existence of any human without treats in hand. He’s more than willing to befriend anyone with treats. Gary might be an occasional enthusiastic chewer as his canine permanent teeth just started coming in, so make sure he has plenty of soft and flexible toys to chew on. Gary is crate-trained and housebroken, potty trained on pee pads and is working on doing his business outside. Little Gary is now looking for a loving home and for a chance to shower you with much love and joy!
Please watch Gary’s videos to learn more about him. If you are interested in this weirdo with big floppy ears, feel free to contact us for more information or simply fill out the adoption form on our website.
