Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Look at this sweet boy, right here! His name is Chip, and he was rescued after wandering a neighborhood for weeks, having apparently been dumped. He is believed to be a Plott Hound mix; and, at approximately a year-and-a-half, he weighs in at 57 pounds. He has been wormed, fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.
Chip is good with other dogs, and even does well with cats! He appears to prefer ladies, but warms up nicely to men with just a little time. He walks well on-leash, he's crate trained, and house training is coming along nicely!
His foster Mom says that Chip thinks he's a lap dog much of the time; and full of fun the rest of the time. Loves to see the squirrels...he wants to play, but they just bark at him! He takes treats from you fingers ever so gently and is a great snuggle buddy on the couch and in the bed!
Chip lives to please, and responds quickly to both praise and reprimand. This boy just wants to be loved!!
Please complete the application you will find near his photos on our website, (www.baytownhumanesociety.org) , if you are interested in giving Chip the loving home he deserves! You will never find a more grateful canine companion!!
